Adeena and I will be hosting up to 25 people in this exciting poetry-writing tour of Israel. We will meet with and hear from writers—Jewish and Palestinian. We will hit highlights but also delve into the unusual—theatre of the deaf and blind, a film-school screening, a meeting with artists, and more from the creative culture of Israel. Throughout, we will inspire, prompt, and encourage you to write. There will be workshops, performances, and lots of deep language play.

The first week of this tour we will explore the center and south of Israel. During the second week, we will anchor in the north for intense writing time accompanied by short excursions. Israeli writers will stop in from time to time to share their creative process and help generate new directions for our own writing.
